“Type A” 12V Style Assembled with 2X8 Header

This is a 12V ‘Type-A’ style male OBDII SAE J1962 compatible connector molded in black plastic with tin plated contacts, assembled together with our generic headerboard and a 2×8 2.54mm pitch header. This connector fits perfectly in any of our housings.

It is manufactured from specially engineered plastics that are resistant to most common workshop chemicals and have a high impact resistance. A metal tab ensures that the connector stays locked in place during use, while phosphor bronze solder type contacts provide error free data and power transmission. This version has tin plating on the contacts to ensure reliable connectivity.
